 Sanjay Lalla, M.D.
Sanjay Lalla, M.D. is a board certified member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery as well as a member of New York and New Jersey Societies of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lalla is also the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Jersey City Medical Center.
Dr. Lalla completed his secondary education at The Pingry School in New Jersey. He then went on to obtain his undergraduate degree as well as his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in a prestigious accelerated program. After medical school he trained in General Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and is board certified in General Surgery. Dr. Lalla went on to complete a two year fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Since completion of his fellowship he has been in private practice with offices in West Orange and Jersey City, New Jersey. Dr. Lalla performs a variety of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
His major interest and experience is with surgery of the massive weight loss patient. Body contouring has become the prime focus of his practice over the last few years. Dr. Lalla understands the psychological and physical changes that a massive weight loss patient experiences and works with patients to look and feel better about themselves. His offices accept many insurances and he and his staff will work to try to get coverage for the procedures that he performs
 Dr. Scott Spiro, MD
Dr. Scott Spiro is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body contouring, facial aesthetic surgery, and breast cancer reconstruction. Education
Dr. Spiro received his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Newark Medical School. He then did his internship in General Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Four more year's of General Surgery Residency including a Chief 'Residency in General Surgery followed at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Spiro then completed a two year Residency in Plastic Surgery at the prestigious University of Miami School of Medicine. After this Dr. Spiro completed an additional fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Miami Children's Hospital Cedars Medical Center and the University of Miami. Dr. Spiro is board certified by both the American Board of Board of Surgery and by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Outside of Plastic Surgery
In addition to his medical career Dr. Spiro had a career in art. He has illustrated book chapters and numerous articles in the medical literature. He has also had several public showings of his work which is mostly in oils and pencil. Message to My Patients

 A. Peter Salas, MD
Dr. Salas received his MD degree from New York Medical College. After completing an Internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York he finished his General Surgery Residency in Michigan. He then went on to do a National Institute of Health sponsored Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University of Michigan, and a Microvascular and Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He completed his Plastic Surgery training in Michigan under the direction of Ian T. Jackson (one of the fathers of plastic surgery). Dr. Salas has also done a fellowship in Aesthetic (cosmetic) Surgery with extensive experience in minimally invasive (endoscopic plastic surgery) and laser surgery. Dr. Salas has received numerous awards including the prestigious Danto Memorial Cancer Research Award from the American College of Surgeons. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery, and the American Board of Aesthetic Mesoplasty; giving him the rare distinction of triple board certification. Since entering practice, Dr. Salas has remained focused on improving patient outcomes. He strives to understand the needs of the patient and what they’re looking for. The close, working bond that he develops with his patients often lasts indefinitely.
 Anthony Berlet, M.D.
Aa well-established plastic surgeon in northern New Jersey who has developed a large clientele from this region, as well as from around the country and abroad. He has formed a very strong reputation as a plastic surgeon due to his breadth of expertise in a wide array of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures. His clients consist of many high-profile people in the entertainment industry including many models and centerfolds. In addition to being a highly skilled plastic surgeon, Dr. Berlet is also an architect, medical illustrator and author. He has extensive artistic ability that allows him to see patients three-dimensionally, which is an essential skill for a plastic surgeon. He is currently in the process of co-authoring a guide to aesthetic enhancement, and he has many contributions to a variety of medical journals regarding cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures.
